Responsibilities
- Architect and implement cloud-native solutions using AWS/GCP services
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming sessions
- Optimize system performance and scalability through load testing and monitoring
- Lead migration projects from monolithic to microservices architectures
- Contribute to open-source projects and publish technical blog posts
- Define DevOps pipelines using CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitLab
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Node.js/Python/Java
- Expertise in container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless computing
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems design and event-driven architectures
- Proven experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) and IaC tools (Terraform)
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously in remote settings
- Portfolio demonstrating contributions to production-scale applications
