Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems using SIEM/SOAR platforms
- Lead incident response for high-severity breaches with 24/7 on-call rotation
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments across hybrid environments
- Develop zero-trust architecture strategies for cloud/on-premises infrastructure
- Mentor junior analysts and create security automation scripts
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Generate executive security dashboards and compliance reports
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in incident response
- Certified CISSP, CEH, or OSCP required
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security and cloud-native tooling
- Proficiency in Python/Go for security automation
- Experience with NIST 800-53 frameworks and compliance standards
- Demonstrated success in threat hunting and MITRE ATT&CK mapping
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder briefings
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience
