Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable microservices using Go and Python on AWS
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming
- Lead architectural decisions for new feature implementations
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins
- Optimize database performance and troubleshoot production issues
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend software development
- Expertise in Go, Python, and distributed systems
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization
- Experience with RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB)
