Responsibilities
- Architect and implement distributed systems using Go/Python
- Mentor 3+ engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Optimize AWS/GCP infrastructure for 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Lead CI/CD pipeline modernization using Terraform and Jenkins
- Collaborate with Product teams to translate requirements into technical specs
- Contribute to open-source projects and tech blog publications
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in backend development (Go/Python preferred)
- Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and serverless architectures
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and event-driven patterns
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Proven track record of mentoring junior engineers
- Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
