Responsibilities
- Lead design and development of microservices using Java/Spring Boot and Node.js
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS DevOps tools (CodePipeline, Lambda, ECS)
- Optimize database performance with PostgreSQL and Redis caching strategies
- Drive technical debt reduction and code quality initiatives
- Mentor 2-3 junior engineers through pair programming and architecture reviews
- Research emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions
- Collaborate with Product teams to translate requirements into technical specifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience building production-grade applications
- Expertise in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and event-driven architecture
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Proven track record of mentoring engineers and leading technical projects
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in agile environments
