Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Java/Spring Boot and AWS cloud infrastructure
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming sessions
- Optimize database performance and implement CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Lead architectural decisions for new feature development
- Contribute to open-source projects and technical documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (5+ years)
- Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
- Strong AWS knowledge (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS)
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and CI/CD tools
- Proven track record of mentoring development teams
- Understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture
- Agile/Scrum methodology experience
