Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Java/Spring Boot and AWS cloud infrastructure
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization using Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Develop RESTful APIs with 99.9% uptime SLAs for financial data platforms
- Conduct code reviews and architectural planning sessions with cross-functional teams
- Troubleshoot production issues using Splunk and New Relic monitoring tools
- Mentor 3+ junior engineers through technical workshops and pair programming
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specifications
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Java/Spring Boot development
- Expertise in AWS services (EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3)
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven design
- Proven track record building high-throughput RESTful APIs
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and containerization
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- CISSP or AWS Certified Solutions Architect preferred
