Responsibilities
- Design and implement distributed systems processing 10M+ daily transactions
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and architecture reviews
- Optimize database queries achieving 99.99% SLA for financial APIs
- Lead CI/CD pipeline automation using Terraform and Jenkins
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specs
- Conduct code reviews ensuring security and performance standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in production-level backend development
- Expertise in Go/Python with proficiency in async programming
- Strong AWS/Azure deployment experience with Terraform
- Deep understanding of distributed systems and CAP theorem
- Proven track record with event-driven architecture and message queues
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
