Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Java, Python, and Go on AWS/Azure infrastructure
- Lead code reviews and enforce best practices for CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab
- Mentor 2-3 junior engineers through pair programming and architectural planning sessions
- Optimize system performance and troubleshoot complex production issues
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Contribute to open-source projects and present technical findings at industry conferences
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with strong Java/Python expertise
- Proficiency in containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and serverless architectures
- Deep understanding of distributed systems design and cloud-native patterns
- Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
- Strong background in Agile methodologies and test-driven development
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
