Responsibilities
- Architect and implement microservices using Go and Kubernetes
- Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP for 99.99% uptime
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and design reviews
- Lead CI/CD pipeline improvements using Terraform and Jenkins
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specs
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging across distributed systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years building production-grade backend services
- Expertise in Go, Python, and cloud-native patterns
- Strong background in distributed systems and database design
- Proficient with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (K8s)
- Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system design projects
