Responsibilities
- Lead development of microservices architecture using Go and Kubernetes
- Design and implement real-time data pipelines processing 10M+ events/day
- Mentor 3-5 engineers through pair programming and architecture reviews
- Optimize system performance to achieve 99.99% uptime SLA
- Drive DevOps excellence through CI/CD pipeline automation
- Collaborate with product team to translate business requirements into technical specs
- Contribute to open-source projects used by 500K+ developers
Qualifications
- 8+ years experience building distributed systems at scale
- Expertise in Go, Python, and cloud-native technologies (AWS/GCP)
- Proven track record leading production deployments with Terraform
- Strong background in event-driven architecture and message queues
- Experience with observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus)
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system design contributions
