Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Java/Spring Boot and AWS infrastructure
- Lead code reviews and enforce best practices for CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Optimize system performance and troubleshoot complex production issues
- Mentor 2-3 junior engineers through pair programming and technical workshops
- Contribute to open-source projects and represent our team at tech conferences
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and relational databases (PostgreSQL)
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proven experience with RESTful API design and integration patterns
- Agile/Scrum methodology proficiency with Jira experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills with strong communication abilities
