Responsibilities
- Design and implement RESTful APIs using Spring Boot and Node.js
- Lead cloud migrations to AWS with Terraform infrastructure-as-code
- Mentor 2-3 junior engineers through pair programming sessions
- Optimize database performance using PostgreSQL and Redis caching
- Conduct code reviews and enforce CI/CD best practices
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Implement security protocols including OAuth2 and JWT authentication
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Expertise in Java, Python, and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven design
- Proficiency with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines
- AWS certification (Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer preferred)
- Experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA/Confluence
