Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices using Go and Python on AWS/GCP
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers on best practices
- Optimize system performance using profiling tools and database tuning
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specs
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code with Terraform
- Contribute to open-source projects and technical documentation
- Drive architectural decisions for high-traffic, low-latency systems
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in distributed systems and cloud architecture
- Expert proficiency in Go, Python, or Java with strong CS fundamentals
- Deep knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and serverless technologies
- Proven track record of shipping production-grade applications
- Experience with event-driven architectures and message queues
- Strong problem-solving skills with complex algorithmic challenges
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
