Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable microservices using Go and Python
- Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP for 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Mentor 2-3 junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming
- Lead CI/CD pipeline improvements using Terraform and Kubernetes
- Contribute to open-source projects and publish technical blogs
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Conduct A/B tests and data-driven performance optimizations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend software development
- Expertise in Go, Python, and distributed systems design
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration
- Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, and system design
- Experience leading technical projects and mentoring engineers
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Contributions to open-source projects or published technical content preferred
