Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end development of microservices using Java/Spring Boot and AWS
- Design and implement RESTful APIs with robust security protocols
- Optimize database performance using PostgreSQL and Redis caching
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams via Jira and CI/CD pipelines
- Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices using SonarQube
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming sessions
- Drive DevOps initiatives including Docker/Kubernetes deployments
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and serverless architectures
- Strong understanding of microservices, event-driven design, and REST APIs
- Expertise in SQL databases and NoSQL solutions
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
