Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Python/Node.js for IoT data pipelines
- Lead AWS cloud infrastructure optimization (EC2, Lambda, S3)
- Develop RESTful APIs with 99.95% SLA requirements
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Terraform
- Conduct A/B testing for performance-critical features
- Collaborate with data scientists to integrate ML models
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in backend development with Python/Java
- Expertise in cloud-native architectures (AWS/GCP)
- Proficiency with container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong background in event-driven systems (Kafka/RabbitMQ)
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Portfolio demonstrating scalable system designs
- Experience mentoring engineering teams
- Passion for open-source contributions
