Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable microservices using Go, Python, and Kubernetes
- Lead technical design sessions for high-throughput data pipelines processing 10M+ daily events
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and design reviews
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines to achieve 95%+ deployment success rates
- Collaborate with Product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Implement advanced monitoring with Prometheus/Grafana for proactive system health
- Drive security best practices including zero-trust architecture implementation
- Contribute to open-source projects that align with our engineering ethos
Qualifications
- 5+ years of production experience in distributed systems at scale
- Mastery of cloud-native technologies (AWS/GCP/Azure) with Terraform/CloudFormation
- Proven expertise in at least one modern language (Go, Rust, or Python)
- Deep understanding of event-driven architectures and async messaging
- Experience leading complex projects with measurable impact on business metrics
- Strong background in database optimization (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis)
- Contributions to technical communities (GitHub, Stack Overflow, meetups)
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
