Responsibilities
- Lead development of microservices using Go and Python on AWS infrastructure
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
- Mentor 3-5 junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming
- Optimize system performance and database query efficiency
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Implement robust security protocols and compliance standards
- Conduct architectural planning for new product features
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Go/Python
- Expertise in cloud architecture (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and database optimization
- Proven track record of mentoring junior engineers
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Experience with fintech or high-transaction systems
- Proficiency in testing frameworks and TDD methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills with algorithmic thinking
