Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security events and alerts on a 24/7 shift schedule.
- Conduct real-time threat hunting and vulnerability assessments to identify potential intrusions.
- Investigate and remediate security incidents using SOC playbooks and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with the Security Operations Center (SOC) team to enhance detection capabilities.
- Generate and present detailed incident reports and trend analysis to management.
- Ensure compliance with internal security policies and external regulatory frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or Threat Intelligence role.
- Strong knowledge of security protocols, network architecture, and operating systems.
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, LogRhythm, or similar).
- Active Security+ or CISSP certification preferred.
- Must be willing and able to work the Night Shift (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
