The Role
In this pivotal role, you will be the first line of defense for our clients during the critical overnight hours. You will monitor security operations centers (SOCs), analyze threat intelligence, and respond to incidents with speed and precision.

Responsibilities
- Continuous Monitoring: Analyze log data, alerts, and events from SIEM systems (Splunk, QRadar) to identify potential security breaches.
- Incident Response: Investigate and remediate security incidents, including malware analysis, phishing attempts, and unauthorized access.
- Threat Hunting: Proactively hunt for advanced persistent threats (APTs) and zero-day vulnerabilities within the network infrastructure.
- Reporting: Generate detailed incident reports and trend analysis for management and client stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Liaise with engineering and development teams to patch vulnerabilities and improve security architecture.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal security policies and relevant regulatory standards (NIST, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment, specifically in a Night Shift capacity.
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, GCIH, or CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent advanced certification).
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, ArcSight), Firewalls (Cisco, Palo Alto), and Endpoint Protection (CrowdStrike, EDR).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting complex technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Availability: Must be willing to work the Night Shift (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM EST).
