In this role, you will serve as the first line of defense against cyber threats, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of our data. We are looking for a proactive individual who can identify vulnerabilities and respond to incidents with speed and precision.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security events using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel) to detect and respond to threats in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and manage security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive security policies, procedures, and incident response plans.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Provide expert consultation on cybersecurity compliance and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Cybersecurity, Network Security, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and common network protocols.
- Proficiency with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting to executive stakeholders.
