Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Perform physical cabling, termination, and cable management for structured cabling systems.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and resolve technical problems efficiently.
- Conduct routine network audits and perform preventative maintenance to ensure system uptime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement network upgrades and security patches.
- Document network configurations and maintain accurate records of all changes.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Valid CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification is highly preferred.
- Proven experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar networking equipment.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, and switching protocols.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various physical environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
