Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain enterprise network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using advanced diagnostic tools and proactively address issues
- Implement security protocols to protect network infrastructure from vulnerabilities
- Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex network outages
- Provide Tier 3 support for VoIP, VPN, and wireless network systems
- Optimize network traffic and bandwidth utilization for maximum efficiency
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience with Cisco/Juniper devices
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required (CCNP preferred)
- Proficiency in network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios)
- Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols
- Experience with network security frameworks and threat mitigation
- Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues under pressure
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation
- Valid California driver's license (for occasional site visits)
