Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize quantum circuits and algorithms using Qiskit, Cirq, or similar frameworks.
- Analyze noise models and implement advanced error mitigation and error correction strategies.
- Collaborate with hardware teams to improve qubit coherence and fidelity for 2026 deployment.
- Translate complex physics requirements into scalable software architecture.
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of quantum software stacks in simulation and real hardware environments.
- Present technical findings to stakeholders and lead code reviews for junior engineers.
Qualifications
- Masterβs or PhD in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related engineering field.
- Extensive experience in Python and C++.
- Proven expertise in quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, PyQuil, or Google Cirq).
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics, superposition, and entanglement concepts.
- Familiarity with cloud-based quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum Experience, AWS Braket).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, research-oriented environment.
