Responsibilities
- Design comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and user acceptance testing
- Execute manual and automated test cases using Selenium and Cypress frameworks
- Identify, document, and track defects in JIRA with detailed reproduction steps
- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams during sprint planning and retrospectives
- Conduct API testing using Postman and validate RESTful service integrations
- Perform cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing
- Analyze test metrics to drive continuous improvement in quality processes
- Mentor junior QA testers on best practices and tool optimization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (5+ years experience accepted in lieu)
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
- Proficiency with bug tracking systems (JIRA, Bugzilla) and test management tools
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience testing web applications, mobile apps, and REST APIs
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and precision
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in remote settings
- Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) is highly desirable
