Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, usability, and performance testing
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA with precise severity levels and clear reproduction steps
- Automate test scripts using Selenium/Cypress to accelerate release cycles
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during Agile sprints to validate requirements
- Analyze test results and provide actionable insights for quality improvements
- Maintain test environments and ensure consistent data integrity
- Participate in code reviews to identify potential issues early
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on QA testing experience in software development lifecycle
- Proficiency in automated testing tools (Selenium, Cypress, or similar)
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with test management tools (JIRA, TestRail) and bug tracking systems
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with API testing (Postman, REST-assured) and database queries
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
