Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and document comprehensive test plans for web and mobile applications
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA with clear severity levels
- Automate regression tests using Selenium and Cypress frameworks
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to define quality standards
- Perform exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and usability issues
- Validate data integrity across complex multi-tiered systems
- Maintain test environments and optimize CI/CD pipelines
- Mentor junior testers and improve QA processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of experience in software QA with 2+ years in automation
- Expert knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices
- Proficiency in Selenium, Appium, and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Strong SQL skills for database testing and validation
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and JIRA
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Certified Tester (ISTQB) preferred
