Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive manual and automated test plans across web and mobile applications
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA with clear severity and priority levels
- Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure timely resolution
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily standups
- Develop and maintain test automation scripts using Selenium and Cypress frameworks
- Perform regression testing on new features and system-wide updates
- Conduct usability testing to enhance user experience and interface functionality
- Generate detailed test reports and metrics for stakeholders
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on QA testing experience in software development environments
- Proficiency in test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress) and programming languages (Python, Java)
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and defect tracking systems
- Experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools
- Familiarity with agile development processes and CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
- ISTQB Foundation Certification or equivalent testing certification a plus
