Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive manual and automated test plans covering functional, regression, and user acceptance testing
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA with clear severity classifications
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to troubleshoot issues and optimize test coverage
- Design and maintain test automation scripts using Selenium and Cypress frameworks
- Conduct cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing on web and mobile applications
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives within Agile/Scrum workflows
- Generate detailed test reports with actionable insights for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional QA testing experience with web and mobile applications
- Proficiency in test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Postman) and programming languages (Python/JavaScript)
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and bug tracking systems (JIRA)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks (JUnit, TestNG)
- Excellent analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
