Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Identify, document, and track software defects using JIRA and maintain detailed test logs
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to validate requirements
- Automate test scripts using Selenium/Cypress to enhance testing efficiency
- Conduct usability testing and provide actionable feedback for product improvements
- Maintain and update test documentation in alignment with agile methodologies
- Analyze test metrics and report quality status to leadership
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software QA with 2+ years in automation testing
- Proficiency in test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright)
- Strong understanding of agile/scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience testing web, mobile, and API applications
- Expertise in defect tracking systems (JIRA, Bugzilla)
- Familiarity with SQL for database testing and validation
- Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) or equivalent certification preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
