Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and document comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Identify, document, and track software defects using JIRA with precise severity classifications
- Automate test scripts using Selenium/Cypress to enhance testing efficiency and coverage
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Dev, Product, Engineering) during Agile sprints
- Conduct usability testing sessions and provide actionable feedback for UX improvements
- Maintain and update test environments across mobile/web/desktop platforms
- Analyze test metrics to identify trends and recommend quality improvements
Qualifications
- 5+ years of QA testing experience with SaaS/web applications
- Expertise in manual testing methodologies and automation frameworks (Selenium/Cypress)
- Strong SQL skills for database validation and test data management
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes and JIRA workflows
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter/K6) and API testing (Postman)
- BS in Computer Science or related field
- ISTQB Foundation Certification preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating test case documentation and defect analysis
