Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive manual and automated test plans for web/mobile applications
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA and defect management systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement quality improvements
- Develop test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, or similar automation tools
- Conduct regression testing and performance analysis in CI/CD pipelines
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning
- Maintain detailed test documentation and quality metrics
- mentor junior QA engineers on best practices
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in software QA with proven track record
- Expertise in manual testing methodologies and test case design
- Proficiency in automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright)
- Familiarity with API testing (Postman, RestAssured) and SQL databases
- Experience with defect tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla) and test management systems
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD processes
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
