Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Automate test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, and Python for CI/CD integration
- Identify, document, and track defects in JIRA with detailed reproducibility steps
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and implement preventative measures
- Validate API endpoints using Postman and REST-assured
- Conduct cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility testing
- Maintain test environments and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on QA testing experience in software development lifecycle
- Expertise in automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress) and programming languages (Python/Java)
- Strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Scrum) and QA best practices
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Certified Software Tester (CSTE) or ISTQB certification preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
