Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive test plans across web, mobile, and API platforms using both manual and automated methodologies
- Identify, document, and track defects through JIRA with clear reproducible steps
- Collaborate with development teams to implement robust test automation frameworks using Selenium and Cypress
- Conduct regression testing cycles for enterprise software releases and feature updates
- Develop and maintain detailed test documentation including test cases, scenarios, and execution reports
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide QA insights during sprint planning and retrospectives
- Analyze test metrics to identify trends and recommend process optimization opportunities
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional QA experience with 2+ years in automation testing
- Expertise in Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, or similar automation frameworks
- Strong proficiency in SQL for database validation and test data management
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and test integration
- Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and security testing basics
- Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and defect tracking systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certified Test Engineer (CSTE) or ISTQB certification preferred
