Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust automated testing frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright
- Lead API testing initiatives with Postman and RestAssured for microservices architecture
- Execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Collaborate with Agile development teams to integrate QA processes into CI/CD pipelines
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish best practices for test documentation
- Analyze test metrics to identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement
- Partner with product teams to define quality standards and acceptance criteria
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software QA with 3+ years in automation testing
- Expert proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha)
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices
- Certification in ISTQB Advanced Test Automation or equivalent preferred
- Experience testing enterprise applications in regulated industries (healthcare/finance)
- Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, and test management tools
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
