Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Selenium and Cypress
- Execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Lead defect management processes using JIRA and implement CI/CD integration
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish testing best practices
- Analyze test metrics and optimize testing strategies for maximum efficiency
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into test scenarios
- Validate API integrations and microservice architectures
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software QA with 3+ years in automation
- Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript for test automation frameworks
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and test-driven development
- Experience with cloud testing environments (AWS/GCP) and containerization
- Certified Professional Tester (CSTE) or ISTQB Advanced Level preferred
- Proficiency in performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
