Responsibilities
- Design and execute automated test frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, and Appium
- Develop comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and document defects
- Implement continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Analyze test metrics and optimize testing strategies
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish best practices
- Participate in agile ceremonies and sprint planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in QA automation with 3+ years in leadership roles
- Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha)
- Strong understanding of API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and DevOps tools
- Certified Professional Tester (CSTE) or ISTQB Advanced Level preferred
- Experience testing web, mobile, and desktop applications
