Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright
- Execute comprehensive manual and automated testing across web, mobile, and API layers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and quality metrics
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA and defect management systems
- Implement continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Lead performance testing and security validation initiatives
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA testing with 3+ years in automation
- Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and testing frameworks
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and API testing tools
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Certified Tester (CTFL) or ISTQB certification preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating test automation projects
