Responsibilities
- Design and implement sophisticated prompt architectures for large language models (GPT-4, Claude, Llama)
- Develop and maintain prompt libraries with version control and performance metrics
- Conduct A/B testing on prompt variations to optimize output quality and coherence
- Collaborate with ML engineers to fine-tune model behaviors through strategic prompting
- Create documentation and training materials for prompt engineering best practices
- Analyze model outputs to identify bias, hallucinations, and improvement opportunities
- Partner with product teams to integrate prompt solutions into client workflows
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on prompt engineering experience with production AI systems
- Portfolio demonstrating successful prompt optimization projects (required)
- Expertise in NLP fundamentals and transformer architectures
- Proficiency in Python and prompt engineering frameworks (LangChain, Hugging Face)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to troubleshoot model inconsistencies
- Certification in AI/ML or related field (preferred)
- Experience working with enterprise clients in regulated industries
