Responsibilities
- Design and implement sophisticated prompt architectures for GPT-4, Claude, and other LLMs
- Develop and maintain prompt libraries with version control and A/B testing frameworks
- Collaborate with ML engineers to fine-tune model behavior through iterative prompt optimization
- Create documentation and training materials for prompt engineering best practices
- Conduct prompt efficacy analysis using quantitative metrics and qualitative user feedback
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align prompt strategies with business objectives
- Stay current with emerging AI capabilities and integrate them into prompt workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, Cognitive Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in prompt engineering or NLP-focused development roles
- Expertise with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face) and prompt engineering frameworks
- Strong Python skills with experience in data analysis and automation
- Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into effective prompt designs
- Excellent written communication with attention to nuance and precision
