Responsibilities
- Model Fine-Tuning: Design and implement sophisticated prompt strategies to optimize the performance of Large Language Models (LLMs) like GPT-4 and Claude.
- Performance Analysis: Conduct rigorous A/B testing and analyze output data to refine prompt structures and improve response quality.
- Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to integrate prompt engineering into the broader AI pipeline.
- Documentation: Build and maintain a centralized library of effective prompts, templates, and best practices for the engineering team.
- Edge Case Handling: Identify and resolve ambiguity or hallucinations in model outputs through iterative prompt engineering.
- Training: Mentor junior team members on the principles of prompt design and AI interaction design.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in technical writing, content strategy, or a related field, with a strong focus on AI or NLP.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python and familiarity with AI libraries such as LangChain, Hugging Face, or OpenAI API.
- Communication: Exceptional command of English grammar, tone, and nuance; ability to translate complex requirements into precise prompts.
- Analytics: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and iterate on strategies based on performance metrics.
