Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and refine complex prompts to optimize Large Language Model (LLM) performance and accuracy.
- Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to integrate prompt strategies into broader AI workflows.
- Analyze model outputs to identify biases, errors, or inconsistencies and implement corrective strategies.
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and generative AI to drive continuous improvement.
- Create comprehensive documentation and guidelines for prompt engineering best practices within the organization.
- Conduct A/B testing on different prompt structures to determine the most effective approaches for various use cases.
- Mentor junior team members on the nuances of prompt architecture and AI interaction design.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in copywriting, technical writing, or content strategy, with a strong focus on AI or tech.
- Deep understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) such as GPT-4, Claude, or similar architectures.
- Strong command of English grammar, syntax, and rhetoric with an ability to deconstruct complex concepts.
- Familiarity with Python or JavaScript for scripting and automation of prompt testing.
- Experience conducting user research and analyzing feedback to iterate on AI product features.
- Ability to think critically and solve complex problems in ambiguous environments.
- Self-motivated individual capable of working independently in a remote-first culture.
