Responsibilities
- Design, test, and optimize advanced prompt architectures for production-scale LLM applications
- Develop systematic prompt engineering frameworks and best practices for cross-functional teams
- Conduct rigorous A/B testing and performance analysis of prompt variations
- Collaborate with ML engineers to align prompt strategies with model fine-tuning objectives
- Create documentation and training materials for prompt engineering methodologies
- Lead innovation in emerging prompt techniques like chain-of-thought and few-shot learning
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to our AI ethics framework development
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on prompt engineering experience with production LLM systems (GPT-4, Claude, etc.)
- Proven track record of optimizing prompts for complex NLP tasks (summarization, reasoning, generation)
- Strong Python programming skills with libraries like LangChain, Hugging Face, or OpenAI API
- Deep understanding of transformer architectures and attention mechanisms
- Experience with MLOps tools and CI/CD pipelines for AI applications
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical prompt specifications
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate complex AI concepts to stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating prompt engineering projects with measurable outcomes
