The Role:
As our Senior Prompt Engineer, you will own the creation and optimization of prompt strategies that ensure our AI solutions deliver human-grade quality. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of prompt development, from initial concept to deployment and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Prompt Architecture: Design and implement complex prompt chains and multi-turn conversations to guide LLMs toward specific, high-quality outcomes.
- Model Optimization: Fine-tune pre-trained models by developing effective few-shot and zero-shot learning prompts.
- RAG Implementation: Build and refine Retrieval-Augmented Generation pipelines to enhance factual accuracy and reduce hallucinations.
- Evaluation & Testing: Create rigorous testing frameworks to measure prompt effectiveness and iterate based on performance metrics.
- Documentation: Document prompt libraries, methodologies, and best practices to empower internal teams and ensure scalability.
- Collaboration: Partner with software engineers to integrate prompt logic directly into production APIs and user interfaces.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in Prompt Engineering, Computational Linguistics, or a related AI field.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in Python, OpenAI API, Anthropic Claude API, or similar LLM interfaces.
- Creativity: Exceptional writing skills with a deep understanding of nuance, tone, and context.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills to diagnose why an AI might fail and the creativity to engineer a solution.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, English, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
