Responsibilities
- Design & Optimization: Develop and refine complex prompt strategies to maximize the accuracy, creativity, and safety of Large Language Models (LLMs) like GPT-4 and Claude.
- Evaluation Frameworks: Establish rigorous testing protocols and evaluation metrics to assess prompt performance against key business objectives.
- Model Tuning: Collaborate with ML engineers to fine-tune models based on prompt engineering insights and user feedback loops.
- Content Strategy: Create persona-based prompts and few-shot examples to guide model behavior in specific domains (e.g., Healthcare, Finance, Legal).
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of prompt libraries, version control, and architectural patterns for the engineering team.
- Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest developments in NLP and Generative AI to introduce novel techniques to our workflow.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computational Linguistics, or a related technical field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python and familiarity with Hugging Face, LangChain, or similar AI toolkits.
- Writing Mastery: Exceptional command of English grammar, rhetoric, and the ability to write with precision and nuance.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to debug complex prompt failures and iterate rapidly.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, English, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Ability to translate technical requirements into intuitive prompts for non-technical stakeholders.
