Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize prompt architectures for large language models including GPT-4, Claude, and proprietary systems
- Conduct iterative prompt testing and performance analysis using quantitative metrics and human evaluation
- Create comprehensive prompt libraries and documentation for cross-functional teams
- Collaborate with ML engineers to integrate prompt strategies into production pipelines
- Research emerging prompt engineering techniques and industry best practices
- Develop evaluation frameworks to assess prompt quality and model response accuracy
- Mentor junior engineers on prompt optimization methodologies
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in prompt engineering, NLP, or related AI fields
- Proven track record of developing production-ready prompt systems
- Expertise with major LLM frameworks (OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face)
- Strong programming skills in Python and API integration
