Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct incident response and forensic investigations
- Implement and maintain security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop security documentation and policies
- Coordinate with IT teams on security initiatives
- Stay current on threat intelligence and zero-day vulnerabilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years experience in cybersecurity operations
- Active Security+ or CISSP certification
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms and network analysis
- Experience with incident response protocols (NIST SP 800-61)
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
