Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a 24/7 SOC team of 5-7 security analysts
- Design, implement, and optimize SIEM/SOAR platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Oversee incident response lifecycle: detection, analysis, containment, eradication, and recovery
- Develop threat intelligence frameworks and proactive hunting programs
- Collaborate with IT teams to remediate vulnerabilities and implement security controls
- Generate executive-level security metrics and compliance reports
- Conduct periodic tabletop exercises and security awareness training
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in SOC leadership
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or GIAC (GCIH/GCSM preferred)
- Expertise in NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
- Hands-on experience with EDR, XDR, and cloud security technologies
- Proven ability to manage complex security incidents and breach investigations
- Strong analytical skills with experience in threat modeling and risk assessment
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
