Responsibilities
- Design, test, and iterate advanced prompts for large language models (LLMs) including GPT-4, Claude, and proprietary systems
- Develop prompt engineering frameworks to optimize AI response accuracy, safety, and creativity
- Collaborate with ML engineers to align prompt strategies with model fine-tuning objectives
- Create documentation and best practices for prompt lifecycle management
- Conduct A/B testing to measure prompt performance across diverse use cases
- Train stakeholders on prompt engineering techniques and ethical AI deployment
- Stay current with emerging AI capabilities and prompt optimization methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, Cognitive Science, or related field (MS preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on prompt engineering experience with production AI systems
- Proficiency in Python and experience with AI/ML frameworks (Hugging Face, LangChain, etc.)
- Demonstrable portfolio of prompt-driven AI solutions with measurable outcomes
- Deep understanding of LLM architectures and token optimization techniques
- Exceptional written communication with ability to translate complex concepts
- Experience with ethical AI frameworks and bias mitigation strategies
